On his 20th anniversary In Cricket, Sachin again made the excellent speech, which shows he is not only a great cricketer but also a great human being. His statement which says, "I am proud to be Marathi, but I am an Indian first" displays his patriotic spirit. But the politicians like Bal Thackeray, who has been totally frustrated by the deteriorating hold in Maharashtra due to stiff competition by hi nephew Raj Thackeray, are making derogatory remarks trying to get the public attention. Day by day, it is becoming customary for the politicians to create such kind of unnecessary controversy since they find it the easiest mode of getting the popularity. Thackeray sarcastic remarks that Sachin should not enter the pitches of politics otherwise he will be run out is absolutely unwelcome and humiliating. If he is really the benevolent of the Marathi people, then he should seriously work out the plan of economic development. The Marathi as well as Indian public want development of the state and not such kind of remarks or speech or whatever. The Indian politics is already filled with so many lacuna. Given these circumstances , it is high time that the Indian public throw out such politicians which are posing threat to national integrity.
